Transport, reuse and care for modular event objects

Plan cases, setup order, safe placement and post-event storage so decorative objects survive beyond one celebration.

Design the pack plan with the object

Every removable face plate, translucent layer and brass locator needs a named cavity or soft wrap. Photograph the packed state before dispatch and keep heavy base modules below fragile pieces. A useful case explains the setup sequence rather than becoming an unlabelled box of parts.

Measure the route before the reveal

Confirm lift, door, stair, corridor and vehicle clearances as well as setup time. Large modules should travel demounted and assemble away from guest circulation. Venue floor rules, airflow, power access and loading windows can change the safest base or installation method.

Keep light, heat and liquids controlled

Use only the validated low-voltage modules listed for the object, keep cables protected and separate electronics from liquids. Decorative pieces should never sit beside flame, food-contact surfaces or unstable edges. Remove power before packing or cleaning.

Store for the next use

Clean with a dry soft cloth, let fabric sleeves air before packing and keep plates separated to prevent abrasion. Record replacement dimensions and the approved palette. Reusable systems work best when future copy and guest-specific parts can change without discarding the long-life frame or base.
